I had to rename the last post since we made it out for some true snow pictures. The boys seemed to enjoy the adventure. It was perfectly sunny outside for our tour. I wanted to take some pictures of the house, so I decided to give Daniel a piggy back ride around the house. The snow was much too deep for him to lift his legs in. I probably should have used our sled because I fell at least a couple times. Thankfully, two feet of snow makes falls really easy and fun. Not far to fall and a soft landing, but let me tell you, it was work hauling Daniel around the yard. Some of the drifts were so deep, I was starting to worry how we were going to get out when it gets over the knees things get difficult.

All bundled up to go see the neighbor's snow fort. |

On snow days, you can walk in the street without a grownup. |
|
The fort was quite impressive. TV, multiple gaming systems, lights, chairs, and it was warm! |
|
We are loving the snow today! |

Daniel got stuck on the deck. |

Amazing wind art. |
|
Spooky adirondak. |

That's how deep the snow in the yard was! |

I MISS SNOW! These pictures are great, I love Christopher's face in the family picture.... Glad you all got out and enjoyed the day!
I spy with my little eye 3 and maybe 4 Katie-knitted items (if you doubled up scarves)!
I love all the snow pictures! We might get a *wintry mix* today and tomorrow, so I'm being asked to work from home this afternoon and tomorrow. No one wants to be on the roads in Houston even if they're fine with driving in the winter weather. Too many crazies who have never dealt with winter driving out there, and no infrastructure to de-ice.
And I agree with Mom on Christopher's facial expression, or lack thereof. He's taking after Grampy!
You are right! There are four items there. I love the way the hat coordinates with Christopher's eyes. We only had one chance to get the family picture, so smile or none, it's on the blog!
