Picture Time

We have had a fun couple months here. The boys are really playing with each other a ton. It's strange to have the chance to be the fly on the wall more than in the middle of the action. Hopefully this will stick around when the new baby comes. We hit the 30 week mark last week. Only 10 weeks left. The baby certainly is growing a lot in this third trimester.
Safety first.

Look, it's Matt!

One of us is not into looking at the camera these days.

Painting.

Whistle while you work.

I snuck one before he knew I was taking it.

Happy St. Patrick's day!

Yes, we have discovered guns.

Museum day!

Hello, may I help you?

We were too late for Tom Pease, I guess Humpty Dumpty will have to do.

Easter eggs and birds nests, busy day!

Enthusiasm

I'm sure I must have mentioned this here before, but my boys have more excitement and enthusiasm in them than I've ever witnessed before. I'm not sure if it's just my boys or if all children in general share this gift of being very excited all the time. Sure, this is natural when you are doing something that is a treat or is something that, but recent instances that have made me realize that this state is persistent are like yesterday when we went to the doctor and they were so excited to be there and wanted to explore everything in sight or last week when we had a few painters in to make quotes and the boys wanted to interview them personally or every week when we go to mass and the boys are so excited to see Monsignor and Aaron Thompson, every week. Or for instance, when they discovered that the kid cups could be rearranged just while I was writing this post. I've never heard so much excitement about kitchen cabinet arrangements. Sometimes I forget that this zest for life is a gift that many people are lacking and get annoyed or embarassed or exhausted by this behavior, but I try my best to be thankful that my children are happy and curious. I also try my best to get lots of sleep.
